I spoke to David yesterday and I am pleased to be able to tell you that he is making a very good recovery from his heart attack last year. He has given up smoking, and with the help of a friend he is eating better food, so let's hope all these problems are behind him now and he has a healthy life from now on. Timmer is still looking into the problem with posting on the website forum. Gerald

I am using this page to let you know that I had a telephone call from Bernie this morning. He is well, and is enjoying warmer weather with sunshine from his new apartment with a balcony facing over the sea. He gets the sun for most of the morning and afternoon, lucky fellow! Unfortunately he is not yet back on line with his computer - he needs some help to get it set up again after the move, and he is waiting for a man to come and do this for him. Then he can put in hand getting broadband, probably a new e-mail address, and start communicating with us again. He asked about this website, and I told him that for the time being we are not able to do very much. He wishes us all a Happy New Year. Gerald

This news is just to let you know that I have been in contact with Timmer and he has acknowledged that there are a few problems at the moment with the website (not being able to change the Home Page), with the Forum (not being able to post any messages) and the Library (not being able to upload any new material). They appear to be as a result of him changing to a new server, and he has promised to look into them when he has a moment. This is appears to be the only page which can be changed for the time being, so it may be worth checking back here for further updates. Gerald

Problems with the Ruby Murray website

If you have tried to post any new messages recently you may have noticed that an error comes up. Timmer is aware of this and is looking into it for us. Unfortunately this means that we have not been able to remember the 17th December this year as the date when Ruby died, but she will always be remembered in our thoughts. Timmer is also aware of the error which is currently preventing me from updating any of the web pages, including the Home Page, and so I am sorry that the snowy Christmas page is not available this year. However, he and I wish you all a Merry Christmas.
