I e mailed them suggesting an interview with Bernie Burgess..they said they would be interested if it were not for the lockdown which has temporarily put a halt to filming. When the lockdown ends and if Bernie is interested maybe someone could contact them again as I am only an occasional visitor to...

Re: Song

Be good if Ruby was acknowledged more on TV in a retrospective of the 50s. Just needs getting to the right person or produce...

I would try the One Show again.....get someone to draft a good letter outlining the compulsive nature of Ruby's story etc. Got to be worth one more go...the worst that can happen is they are not interested.

Re: Ruby and the Duke

I think contacting as many older radio/tv presenters as possible is the best way forward. Maybe ask for the guy from Bay FM station if you could do a special programme with him on Ruby's story? He could pass it by the station manager.

Just watched it for the first time...I recall it being mentioned a while ago. What a brilliant little film...now on YouTube. Well done to all involved.

Re: Bernie's Birthday Today!

One place you might try for a radio interview is Billy Butler of Radio Merseyside..maybe write to him with a brief introduction and if he's interested in having you on his show as he does nostalgia stuff. I know you have been down this road before but maybe think about it although there are obviousl...
