In this months March issue of"Yours Retro" there is a nice article relating to Ruby headed "Jewel Of the Hit Parade" and it also has four nice photos of her........I'm always pleased when I can see that there is still interest out there for this wonderful person and singer........It was nice to play...

There is another version of this song by another Irish singer Maisie McDaniel and you will hear that you have got the word right as she also sings JOY

This song was written by Eilish Boland......She was born in Doonaree on the 10/8/1917 and died on the 7/2/1970

She also wrote the song Doonaree a lovely song that was also recorded by Ruby

In 1963 Ruby released a single called "I'll Walk The Rest Of The Way".......This was the A side of the record........The B side was I'm In Love With The Boy Next Door",she again sang this recording but the credits to the song are given to R.Murray and C Keyes so I would think that there ...
