Final Teaser.

Hello Friends, It would be nice if I could win just one, so I'll have one last try. My scoutmaster always told me - "If at first you don't succeed - CHEAT" so - Ruby had a mascot in the form of a little cuddly teddy bear which she carried around for years. She gave it a name - PETCHUNO. It was taken...

Re: Another Teaser

Hello GS.

I'm not sure whether I qualify to answer, but here goes anyway.

Ruby sang Mr. Wonderful to me on stage when we did a double sequence, is that what you are referring to? Could the second one be 'Dear Daddy"?

Musical Teaser.

Hello John.

10 out of 10. Go straight to the top of the class.

I have just learned a good lesson, - never tangle with true Ruby Murray fans.

On 2nd thoughts, I might just come up with a difficult one.

The Musical Teaser

Friends,

I think that I ought to add that the clues that I have given refer to the words in the hidden phrase and not the title of the song, which is what we are after.

Gerald.

I was right, I knew that you would come up with the answer. For the benefit of other viewers, you will have to be a little more specific with your answer.

Musical Teaser.

Hello John, Sorry, I didn't hear this particular musical phrase in "Let Me Go Lover". I'll wait to see whether any more answers are sent in before revealing the phrase and where it can be heard. One more hint, it's very short and it comes in a musical passage where there is no vocal from Ruby. Good ...

A Musical Teaser.

Hello Friends, Here is a teaser for all 50s. music lovers. Whilst listening to the Golden Anniversary Collection, I heard a very short phrase from a Nat 'King" Cole arrangement which was cleverly woven in to one of Ruby's Big Five hits. Can anyone tell me what the song was that the phrase came from ...

'It's The Irish In Me'

Hello John. Thanks for the information on this additional CD. Good news for the fans. I must say that I am completely bewildered by it. I was told by a contact at EMI that it was a mistake and that it should not have gone on to the internet via Amazon and that it should be stopped. My one concern is...

Jimmy McGarry

In reply to the rbl.ca enquiry Welcome to the Official Ruby Murray website. Ruby frequently spoke to me about the artistes that she toured with in Ireland and how very much she enjoyed those days. I can remember the name of Jimmy McGarry being mentioned in her conversations but the one person who ca...

AIRTIME.

Hello John, Good to know that requests are going in. It is far harder these days to get requests played and fewer programmes include requests in their programming but we must not give up. If we all hammer away at the powers that be sooner or later we might just get then to listen to our pleas. I thi...

Radio Interview

Friends, I have just returned from the radio station, a British speaking station covering the south coast of Spain. With the assistance of sterling work by one of the presenters, a Liverpudlian called Vince Tracey, we managed to fill a whole hour with data on Ruby on this very important day. Despite...
