Ruby's eyes / Magazine article:

Hi guys and girls, I have just been looking through my LPs and CDs of Ruby, admiring the sleeves, reading the sleeve notes and of course admiring Ruby's many charms. She was such a photogenic person, especially in colour. Anyway, I was just wondering what colour Ruby's eyes were. On the album "This ...

Hi David,

I think the words you are unsure about are "Arklow House". Arklow is a place in Ireland. I could be wrong though so if anybody has any more suggestions I am sure they will put me right.

Hi guys,

Thank you for all your replies re Maureen Evans and also Edna Savage. I knew I could rely on you all.

I am getting some recordings of both Edna and Maureen so I am looking forward to listening to them and reaching my own conclusions. I am sure both are excellent.

Thanks again.

Martin.

Hi Bernie, Great story....Can you remember what year that happened? Did Ruby do many tours of Southern Ireland and if so, can you remember the venues and if any other Irish singers appeared on the shows with Ruby? Would Marie Cunningham have provided the accompaniment and did the programme contain b...
