Hi guys, This is indeed disappointing news but understandable from Chris's point of view I suppose. I wonder if there are any forgotten Ruby recordings hidden in the Decca/Fontana archives that might come to light. How about releasing the cds to commemorate Ruby's 60th anniversary next year? This is fantastic that our dear Ruby is still being remembered on your radio programme. Was the track 'Two rivers' or 'Boy meets girl'? The former is my favourite.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news about dear Joan. May she rest in peace. They really don't make stars like Joan, Ruby and Lita Roza any more. I wonder what the circumstances were and if it was reported in any papers etc.

I am glad all went well in your labour of love Bernie. I bet you were tired after all that driving and doing the graves etc. How was Ruby's grave looking?
