Sad news, Ted, thank you for letting us know. I only met her the once, at the plaque unveiling ceremony, but it was clear she was a life-long friend of Ruby's.

Thank you Nick, that was a very nice tribute. I never tire of hearing Softly, Softly because I remember Ruby's own words when someone asked her if she ever got fed up singing it. She said "Why would I? I have such a lot to be grateful for with that song".
