Softly Softly was used as the theme tune for an advertising campaign and looked like it could have done well for Ruby as most records used for television adverts do, but it only ran for a short time. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PRODUCT WAS?

I remember the advert well,it's such a shame that it was to advertise toilet rolls. I hope Ruby did earn a lot of money from the advert(if it really was her singing)

Hi Graham,
The ad was for toilet rolls, but Ruby did not make any money from it, the ad was stopped when her management demanded payment for the use of her record.
