I just happened to tune into BBC Radio 2 yesterday (Sat.18/6) to hear the strains of 'Goodbye Jimmy Goodbye' on Tony Blackburn's 'Top of the pops'. He was featuring the year 1959. He introduced her as 'the versatile Ruby Murray'.
Although he was only a teenager when this record was in the charts, he did seem to be a fan. It was nice to hear Ruby again on national radio.
Cheers, Ted

I am delighted with the news Teddy, I wish that I had heard it myself.

I will see if I can find it on BBC iPlayer (but I know this will not work for Bernie in Spain). Thank you for letting us know Teddy
