David - and Friends

When Ruby took part in a documentary about Duke Special I became very friendly with the Producer - Michael Beattie. I know he is considering retirement but I also knew that he would help in some way, if he could, so I sent the 'piece' to him asking for his advice, - here is his reply : -

to me
Good evening, my friend!
Thanks for this and I trust all is well with you.
Yes, I'm stickin' out.
Busy finishing off a few projects and then aiming for semi-retirement to spend more time canoeing, and with my granddaughters.
The 2015 anniversary is a good time to think of a further film about Ruby.
If you're happy, I'll forward your outline to a few other producers of my acquaintance and see if we can get some reaction.
I'll keep you advised.
Best wishes for now,
Michael

I have replied giving him my thanks and appreciation.

Adios Amigos.

Further to the previous message. Micheal told me that he wants to do some canoeing to which I replied that my canoeing days are over and that you need good balance for canoeing. This was his brief reply. : -
