Whenever I saw Ruby onstage during the 1980s she always started her act with ' S'wonderful '.
Besides her hits, Ruby also usually included a tender version of Lena Martell's hit ' One day at a time '.

Do any other fans have memories of songs sung by Ruby during her stage appearances ?

I saw Ruby many times over the years, and it did not matter which song she sang they where all very special to me. It was just a case of being there, and seeing this lovely lady stood there singing songs I liked. My wife and I always sat in the same seats at each show, front row two seats to the right of the mike and Ruby always looked down at us and smiled, that was also very special. By the way when we first started to follow Ruby round the Uk seaside places Kathleen was then my girl friend then she became my wife.
