Not a teaser as such, as there are no definative answers, but I just wondered how many pairs of Ruby's song titles you could find to link together- for example:-
"I'm in love with the boy next door" - "Johny Gray".
No restrictions on the number of times a song title can be used with different pairings.
I have a couple more in mind but will be interested to see what you come up with.

Softly, Softly / Pianissimo: they mean much the same thing.
Evermore / Forever: ditto
Bambino / Little One: ditto
Will return if I think of any more,
John H. (working in Spain this week).
Is this a match?

Would these fit?
Goodbye Jimmy, Goodbye / A Message from Jimmy
I'll think of a few more.

A Pretty (Pretty, Pretty) Irish Girl - could be Peggy O'Neil, Eileen O'Grady or Nora Malone;
True Love / In Love (Ain't That A Grand And Glorious Feeling?)
More to come.....

I have just thought of a rather amusing pairing of song titles, which has made me smile just writing this note:
Come Into My Heart/I Can't Get You Out of My Heart
We know that Ruby was known for having a good sense of humour, and I like to think that she also would smile at that one!

Like those Gerald - and, of course, you could have a HEARTBEAT in the middle!

Wow, Graham, that's more like a story!
Here are another two on the theme of "they make me smile":
You Are My Sunshine/Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head
I Will Wait For You/Turn and Walk Away
Must be my own sense of humour!
