A Teasing 'Teaser'

Hello Friends,
Whilst there is a lull in activity I'd like to craftily slip in a Teasing 'Teaser' in an attempt to get everyone thinking once again.
In which of Ruby's songs does she claim that someone has strange powers?
I don't expect this one to fool too many friends/fans for too long but it might get thinking caps to be donned.
A GOLD STAR awaits.

Hi Bernie,
Is it "Let me go lover" where Ruby sings "Let me be, set me free from your spell"?
Best wishes.
Martin.

Hello Martin,
What a good try, a silver star for effort but sorry that is not the song that I have in mind, despite being a very suitable answer to the question. I have had a hint that one of the friends has already solved the mystery but he is being very cagey about posting his reply. - Guess who!
Kindest regards. Adios Amigo. Bernie.

In the one I am thinking of, these powers are not rough, in fact they remind me of "Softly, Softly".

Hi, Bernie.
After careful consideration, I have decided that it must be "Miss O'Leary's Irish Fruit Cake". That recipe certainly caused people to do strange things.
Fingers crossed.
Ralph
P.S. I've been lending my Ruby CDs (they currently have my Anthology) to Ron & Barbara Smyth, neighbours three doors away, both from Londonderry.

Hello Ralph,
Another good answer but not the correct one, sorry Ralph. Incidentally, I promise not to tell Miss O'Leary what you said about her cake.
Hope your neighbours enjoy the C.D.s.
Kindest regards to you AMIGO. Bernie/

Hello Friends
I clearly remember when I gave early clues to a 'Teaser', when we first started with them, several people latched on to the clues and the 'Teaser' was very quickly solved. I am hesitant to give any early clues this time because it would be wonderful to win one, although perhaps I just might.
Think about it friends. Adios Amigos. Bernie

Hello Friends,
We have a winner for the gold star, he has sent me an email letting me know he has the answer and he is about to post a message with the correct answer. Once he has done so, I will despatch his prize winnings and give him my congratulations, he has quite a collection of stars in his desk from previous 'Teasers'.

Hello to the Winner,
Well done indeed John K, the Gold Star will add to your collection of stars. Good to see that you are still taking an active part on the website and coming up with acurate answers. I am interested to know whether anyone picked up the hidden clues that I posted in my last message?????
I am sure I can speak for everyone when I say that we wish you good health and long may you continue to take part in all that takes place on the R.M. website.
Adios Amigo. Bernie
Thanks
