System downtime

Post by Timmer »

Sorry about the downtime this weekend. The site was moved to a new web server. Please let me know if you notice any problems from the move. Thanks!

Hello Timmer,

John K has already thanked you for letting us know what was happening but I would like to thank you too. Gerald is away for a while right now but I daresay he will contact you on his return.

Trust that all is well with you and yours.

Adios Amigo. Bernie.

Excellent! :) It is always a scary time changing things that already work. Or like my dad used to say, "If it ain't broke don't fix it."

But this change was necessary and will help ensure that RubyMurray.org stays online for the foreseeable future!

Warmest regards,
--Tim

Your Dad must have been an engineer (like me!) :D

I did notice the down time yesterday, but I am usually quite philosophical about such things as things going down, and my advice to my friends is always "wait and see".

I do like your comment about "foreseeable future" - many, many thanks for that Tim. Your work in the background is very much appreciated.
Gerald
