I dont know if anyone can help me, My daddy andy donnelly 5 row accordian player was a good friend of ruby and came from down her way,in belfast. he backed her up on one of her first hit singles or album, i'm just not sure and my daddy is dead, i was looking to listen to the song but i'm not sure which one it is, can anyone help?

I would like to help you with your request but I need more details. Where did your Father record with Ruby, was it in England, or Dublin or Belfast? What year would it have been, better still have you got a date? Ruby recorded a vast number of tracks so without more detail it would be extremely difficult to trace the track down.

Welcome Elaine. There is in our Library a document listing in chronological order all the records which Ruby made, including singles, EPs and LPs with all the titles and the date of release. Perhaps this may help you in some way. Here is a link to it:
